Vacation To Alaska
Have you ever dreamed of visiting the 49th State Do you wonder about all the natural beauty, rustic lifestyle, and native animals? If you consider a vacation to Alaska to be on your bucket list you are not alone, over 1milion people each year visit this fascinating State.
The 2018 Alaska adventure was conceived by just a small handful of friends that were all looking to celebrate a milestone birthday. It did not take long for the group to expand to over 50 people. A very diverse group, some married, some single folks, families with children all different ages but the same dream to see Alaska. When one of my clients suggested that my husband and I join the the group, we immediately accepted the invitation.

The entire group arrived to Seattle the day before we were scheduled to sail.
The first day is when you start to learn the layout of the ship, this one was the perfect size. The Celebrity Solstice capacity is just under 3,000. It did not feel too large, or too small. The ships layout was very easy to navigate. Some of the larger ships can accommodate almost 6000 passengers.
I have to say traveling with a group on a cruise is really the ultimate in fun. Each person brings their own dynamics to enhance the trip.
Our group of 50 , some choose to participate in different excursions, however there were times that some people were together. Everyone got to do what they wanted or simply do nothing …
Alaskan Excursions
Alaskan excursions varied from, salmon fishing, lumberjack shows, sea planes, kayaking, glacier & whale watching. All memorable experiences! It was so exciting at the end of the day to meet up for dinner or drinks and have everyone share their experiences!
Alaska was amazing to see and experience, I recall one morning around 5am, which is very early for me to be up on vacation, I looked out to see the prettiest blue glaciers floating past our balcony. I jumped out out bed and threw open the curtains, I just could not believe how beautiful the views were.
